There are very less people who are aware of Ashwatthama from the Mahabharat since Arjun, Duryodhan, Bheem, Krishna and other characters took all the attention. But Ashwatthama was the only one who played an important role in Mahabharat. He was the one who changed the end of Kurukshetra war.

Mahabharata war also called Kurushketra war was happened between the Pandavas and the Kauravas in 3139 BC. In the end of Kurushketra war Duryodhana was killed by Bheema, only one warrior left alive from the Kauravas side he is Ashwatthama. The Pandavas won the Kurushketra war and ruled 36 years 8 months until the begining of Kaliyug in 3102 BC.

Ashwatthama was the son of Dronacharya and Kripi. Ashwatthama along with his father Guru Dronacharya fought in the battle of Mahabharat from the Kauravas side against Pandavas.

There were some really astonishing thing about this character that many people don't know about.

Ashwatthama was the last warrior of the Kauravas.

Ashwatthama was super angry with the Pandavas and wanted to extract revenge for his father's murder, his friend Doryodon's murder. Ashwatthama wanted to kill Pandavas. After the Kurushketra War at the midnight Ashwatthama went to Pandavas's camp he thought Pandavas were sleeping but accidentally he killed Draupadi's sons. After Pandavas learnt that Ashwatthama killed their sons ( Draupadi's son ) who were asleep in the Pandavas camp, The Pandavas started to hunt for Ashwatthama. Ashwatthama got scared and ran into Ved Vyasa's Ashram and seeked protection from the great sage. The Pandavas arrived their along with lord Krishna. Within no time Bheema proceeded to trash Ashwatthama to death. At this moment Ashwatthama sensed danger and shot the Brahmastra towards Pandavas. In retaliation, Arjun ( one of Pandavas ) also shot Brahmastra. Lord Krishna knew about the extent of destruction this could lead to, asked Vyasa to stop the Brahmastra from colliding with each other. Vyasa intercepted and held both the Brahmastra in the air and Lord Krishna instructed both Arjun and Ashwatthama to withdraw their weapons. Arjun withdraw his Brahmastra, however Ashwatthama said he only knew to shoot it but did not know how to withdraw it. Then Lord Krishna requested Lord Brahma to pacify his weapon. Brahma said the weapon can pacify only when Pandava becomes a target to it. Finally Brahmastra was redirected towards Uttara's womb where Abhimanyu's son ( a Pandava ) was growing. Lord Krishna was angry with Ashwatthama and he decided to curse Ashwatthama to avenge the destruction of Pandava's lineage. Krishna demanded that Ashwatthama to remove his protective jewel from his head. Krishna forced him to do so. Then he cursed Ashwatthama with terrible leprosy that would haunt him 5000 years. Krishna further started that Ashwatthama would not be helped by anyone or provided food or shelter.

His body was covered in horrible wounds which wouldn't heal. Blood and pus came out of his wounds constantly.

The Story Of A Man's Unending Nightmare - he lost his sight, speech, hearing and sense of smell

A soldier fighting in a war and mortar blows off his face. War has plunged army soldier Joe Bonham into an unending nightmare. Hit by an artillery shell in World War 1, Joe has suffered injuries that have all but erased his humanity: he's lost his sight, speech, hearing, and sense of smell. But he still has the ability to think and remember, which, in the end, may be more a curse than a blessing. Trapped in his body, Joe realizes there's only one way out of his misery. It is death.
“ I can't remember anything
Can't tell if this is true or dream
Deep down inside I feel to scream
This terrible silence stops me

Now that the war is through with me
I'm waking up I cannot see
That there is not much left of me
Nothing is real but pain now

Hold my breath as I wish for death
Oh please God, wake me

Back in the womb it's much too real
In pumps life that I must feel
But can't look forward to reveal
Look to the time when I'll live

Fed through the tube that sticks in me
Just like a wartime novelty
Tied to machines that make me be
Cut this life off from me

Hold my breath as I wish for death
Oh please God, wake me
Now the world is gone, I'm just one
Oh God, help me

Darkness imprisoning me
All that I see
Absolute horror
I cannot live
I cannot die
Trapped in myself
Body my holding cell

Landmine has taken my sight
Taken my speech
Taken my hearing
Taken my arms
Taken legs
Taken my soul
Left me with life in hell"

Joe Bonham lies injured in a hospital bed. While conscious, Joe thinks back over scenes from his past: the night of his father's death and the night before he felt his girlfriend Kareen to go to World War 1. Before his family moved to Los Angeles, Joe grew up in Shale City, a small town in Colorado. He remembers small town memories and images, such as the food his mother would prepare, the first time an airplane came to Shale City, and the night he lost his girlfriend, Diane, to his best friend, Bill Harper.

The narrative shifts from the past to the present as Joe thinks regretfully about his decision to join a war that was not any of his business. Slowly, Joe begins to realize that he has been severely injured and treated in a hospital, which is where he currently lies. Joe gradually feels that his arms and legs have been amputated. Furthermore, he realizes that he cannot speak, see, hear and smell because he no longer has a face - only mask covering where his face used to be. Joe wonders bitterly about the doctors' motivation for saving him at all.

Joe continues to live inside his head, reliving memories and terrorised by nightmares. He wonders how he can even tell whether he is awake or asleep. Joe thinks about his father kept beautiful gardens in a vacant city lot and fed his children well, although he was never officially a success because he never made any money. Joe continues to think bitterly about the foolishness of fighting and dying in a war that had nothing to do with him, and about the deceitfulness of abstract words like “liberty, " democracy, freedom and decency. He is the among millions.

Story of a man - A blind man's love

A man married a beautiful girl. He loved her very much. One day she developed a skin disease. Slowly she started to lose her beauty. It so happened that one day her husband left for a tour. While returning he met with an accident and lost his eyesight. However, their married life continued as usual. But as days passed she lost her beauty gradually. Blind husband did not know this and there was no any difference in their married life. He continued to love her and she also loved him very much. But one day she died. Her death brought him a great sorrow. He finished all her last rites and wanted to leave that town.

A man from behind called and said, “ Now how will you be able to walk all alone ? All these days your wife used to help you ". He replied, I am not blind. I was acting because if she knew I could see her skin condition due to a disease, it would have pained her more than her disease. I didn't love her for her beauty alone, but I fell in love with her caring and loving nature. So pretended to be blind. I only wanted to keep her happy".

“When you truly love someone, you will go to any extent to keep your loved one happy and sometimes it is good for us to act blind and ignore one another's short comings in order to be happy. The beauty will fade with time , but heart and soul will always be the same. Love the person for what he or she is from inside, not from outside."

If you're leaving close the door
I'm not expecting people anymore
Hear me grieving, I'm lying on the floor
When I'm drunk or dead I really ain't too sure

I'm a blind man, I'm a blind man and my world is pale
When a blind man cries, Lord, you know there ain't no sadder tale

Had a friend once in a room
Had a good time but it ended much too soon
In a cold month in that room
We found a reason for the things we had to do

I'm a blind man, I'm a blind man, now my room is cold
When a blind man cries, Lord, you know he feels it from  his soul.

How to be successful in life

How to be successful in life
No matter how old you are, where you're from or what you do for a living, we all share something in common - a desire to be successful. Each person definition is different, however, as some may define success as being a loving and faithful spouse or a caring and responsible parent, while most people would equate success with wealth, fame and power.
We all want to achieve success so we could live a comfortable life - have a financial freedom, drive a nice car, and live in a beautiful house. However, although success can be achieved, it does not come easy.

1. Think Big

From Michelangelo Buonarroti, Great Renaissance Artist : “ The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark."

2. Find what you love to do.

From Orprah Winfrey, Media Mogul : “ You know you are on the road to success if you would do your job and not be paid for it."

3. Learn how to balance life.

From Phil Knight, CEO of Nike Inc. : “ There is an immutable conflict at work in life and in business, a constant battle between peace and chaos. Neither can mastered, but can be influenced. How you go about that is the key to success. "

4. Do not be afraid of failure.

From Henry Ford, Founder of Ford Motors: “ Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently. "

5. Don't be afraid of introducing new ideas.

From Mark Twain, Famed Author : “ A person with new idea is a crank until the idea succeeds."
